Homemade Hot Chocolate

A simple DIY hot chocolate blend that you can mix up to have on hand for a special hot beverage, or give to a friend as a gift.

1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1 cup sugar

4 0z bar of good quality baking chocolate

2 Tablespoons cornstarch

1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

To serve heat 8 oz of milk and add a heaping Tablespoon of cocoa powder.  Use more or less for you personal preference.

I use a bar of Ghirardelli 60% baking chocolate for this mix.  Use any semi-sweet or milk chocolate bar you prefer.
